AZ-Delivery LM2596S DC-DC Step-Down Buck Converter Module
The AZ-Delivery LM2596S is an adjustable DC-DC step-down buck converter module used to convert a higher DC input voltage into a lower, stable DC output voltage.
It is useful for powering microcontrollers, sensors, LED projects, relays, small modules and other low-voltage electronics from batteries, power adapters or other DC power sources.
The output voltage is adjusted using the onboard trimmer potentiometer, making the module suitable for common project voltages such as 5V, 3.3V or other lower DC voltages.
This module is based on the LM2596S switching regulator and is designed for efficient voltage conversion with low heat generation compared to simple linear regulators.
Important Note
This is a step-down converter only. The input voltage must be higher than the desired output voltage.
For example, it can be used to step 12V down to 5V, but it cannot step 5V up to 12V.
