LDR Photoresistor Light Sensor Module – LM393, Analog & Digital Output

This LDR photoresistor light sensor module is designed to detect ambient light intensity and brightness changes. It can be used for smart lighting, day/night detection, automation projects, robots, alarms, display control and simple light-based switching.

The module uses a light-dependent resistor to detect brightness. As the light level changes, the sensor output changes as well. It also includes an LM393 comparator and an adjustable potentiometer, allowing the digital output threshold to be adjusted.

The module provides both analog and digital outputs. The analog output can be read by a microcontroller ADC pin to measure relative light intensity, while the digital output can be used as a simple light/dark trigger.

It is suitable for ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESPHome and other microcontroller projects.
