Senhus Connect communicates with a Panasonic indoor unit through its CN-CNT connector. That physical connector is the compatibility requirement. A model appearing in a general Panasonic product catalogue is not enough on its own.
Panasonic families with CN-CNT support
Panasonic documents CN-CNT compatibility by model family. These are the European residential families called out in Panasonic’s Comfort Cloud documentation:
| Panasonic family | Typical model pattern |
|---|---|
| Etherea | CS-Z••VKEW, CS-XZ••VKEW |
| TZ wall-mounted | CS-TZ••WKEW |
| TKEA professional wall-mounted | CS-Z••TKEA |
| Mini floor console | CS-Z••UFEAW |
| 4-way cassette | CS-Z••UB4EAW |
| Low-static ducted | CS-Z••UD3EAW |
| Earlier domestic families | CS-VZ••SKE, CS-FZ••UKE, CS-UZ••VKE, CS-PZ••VKE |
| Earlier WKE/TKE/UKE families | CS-FZ••WKE, CS-PZ••WKE, CS-DZ••VKE, CS-TE••TKEW, CS-FE••UKE, CS-BE••TKE, CS-DE••TKE |
| Earlier professional and commercial families | CS-Z••SKEM-M, CS-E••PKEA, CS-E••PB4EA, CS-E••PD3EA |
The •• positions represent Panasonic’s capacity and variant digits. Panasonic also notes that some newer units have built-in Wi-Fi, so the CZ-TACG1 adapter is not required for those units; that does not replace checking the indoor-unit connector before connecting a third-party controller.
Check your exact unit
- Find the complete model number on the indoor unit label. The outdoor-unit number is not enough.
- Look for a socket labelled CN-CNT on the indoor-unit PCB or in Panasonic’s installation/service documentation.
- Check the final suffix as well as the family name. Regional variants can have different hardware.
- If you cannot confirm the connector, send us the complete model number or a clear photo of the label before ordering.
For the family-level reference, see Panasonic’s CN-CNT/Comfort Cloud documentation. Contact Senhus if you want us to check a specific indoor unit.
